Modern Landscape Creations recently completed another fantastic project in Kellyville, where we transformed our clients' backyard into the ultimate cosy retreat. They wanted a space that felt modern and inviting, with an area to entertain friends around a firepit, while also linking different parts of the backyard together. Working closely with them, we brought their ideas to life and delivered a backyard they’re proud to call their own.
The transformation included several stunning features, perfect for creating a comfortable and stylish outdoor living space:
- Split natural stone crazy paving was installed to create a rustic yet refined firepit area, ideal for evening gatherings and warm, cozy nights under the stars
- A floating composite bench seat, complete with LED strip lighting, was added to the firepit area, highlighting the bench's underside to add a soft, ambient glow after dark
- A sleek composite boardwalk connects the firepit area to the pool, ensuring smooth transitions between different zones in the backyard, enhancing the overall flow of the space
- The existing block retaining walls were given a fresh, modern update by being bagged and painted charcoal to match the house’s color scheme, bringing cohesion to the entire backyard design
- TifTuf turf was installed in the newly levelled turf area, creating a lush, green space that softens the hardscapes and provides a functional spot for play and relaxation
The goal for this project was to craft a backyard that balanced entertaining with relaxation, allowing the family to enjoy the space in a variety of ways.
